The Story Behind Globally You:

How we decided to start our own LSP.

How we met…

The four founders of Globally You met 3 years ago at the beginning of what was going to be the most intricate, twisted, and mind boggling experience of our lives. After discovering what our career paths were supposed to be like at MIIS, we constantly joked about how we had all that it took to become a successful Language Service Provider; given that we each took on one of the 3 career paths offered by the institute.

How GY’s idea came to be…

Fast forward many sleepless nights and we came to the agreement that the idea was not a bad one at all. We convinced TechFaber to become our IT consultant and later on our partner-in-crime. It took long brainstorming sessions, tons of coffee and tea, an infinite amount of “back to the drawing board” moments, and an insurmountable amount of patience and passion for what we were doing, hand in hand with an infinite desire to see our dream come true.

Why go through all the trouble?…

We all have had the opportunity to observe, dissect, and partake in many different enterprises, LSPs, and other agencies, including, performing varied roles throughout our careers. We’ve seen it all, the crude, the ugly, the wonderful, the amazing, and the inspiring. We created a list of the things we loved and the things we hated, the Dos and Don’ts. With a goal in mind, we decided to jump into the endless to-do list that shaped our dream. It has not been an easy road, in fact, I’m willing to say it has been one of the most exciting bumpy roads I’ve ever traveled. When drafting our Mission, Vision and Value Statements we went back to the lists of traits we wanted for Globally You. The main characteristic we decided we wanted Globally You to be recognized for was for our values.

What our values are…

We’ve learned many important lessons along the way and on what kind of practices we NEVER want to see take place in our LSP. We gained knowledge from those who were willing to share it with us. We’ve learned from the best and are thankful for it. We strive to be a Language Service Provider that respects both its clients and vendors. Our dream is to have the happiest team and the best products. To work side by side with our clients to help them grow in this globalized world. We want to help each one of our partners to be local globally.
